A good example of a solid silver card case. It is gilt lined with a hinged lid and its curved shape means it sits nicely in the palm of your hand.
The rim and top are both clearly hallmarked for E.J Houlston, Birmingham, 1928.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dents and minor surface marks and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
