A fabulous original Shoe Shine box dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It is made from oak with a padded leather top and it has brass recessed carrying handles. The front hinges downwards to reveal four internal compartments and it comes with a selection of four old brushes.
It is good quality and very solidly made. It is in good condition for its age and it has developed a wonderful colour and patina. There are signs of age and use, a few small marks, minor knocks and chips but no major damages. It has been cleaned and gently polished and displays well.
