A good quality stained beech hat and coat stand dating from the early 20th century. It has 6 pegs around the top section which also revolves and a further 5 pegs below. It has a bulbous turned support and stands on a square stepped base with lions paw feet. It is well made with a heavy weighted base to prevent it toppling and a pretty turned finial on the top.
It is in good condition for its age and has a lovely aged patina. There are signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
