An unusual mahogany tabletop desk tidy on a revolving base dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. The one side has a series of nicely shaped letter racks with two small drawers below and the other side has a series of 6 upright stationery compartments. It is a good quality piece and it revolves smoothly on its base.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks and a couple of the dividers in the letter racks are missing or have been taken out but it displays well. The whole piece is strong and sturdy and revolves freely on its base. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
