A superb cut glass scent bottle with solid silver top and collar. The bottle is excellent quality with an ornate top, star-cut base and beautiful deep ruby red glass. It comes with its original ground glass stopper. The collar is clearly hallmarked for Sydney & Co, Birmingham, 1908.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some small dinks in the silver top (one particularly at the back by the hinge, see photo) and some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are no cracks or major damages to the glass, just some minor small surface nibbles. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.
