Antique Quarter Plate Mahogany Field Camera
A good example of a quarter plate field camera dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. The camera itself is cased in mahogany. The camera front folds down and the body and bellows extend along a track before being locked in place. It comes with its original brass lens and leather cap.
Cosmetically, the camera is in good condition for its age and is a lovely decorative item. The mahogany has a lovely patina with no major damages. There are a few marks and knocks and an old repaired split along the bottom but nothing detrimental. The bellows are in good condition with no visible holes or damage. Functionally, the camera is untested and is being sold as seen.
