A lovely small pine side table dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It stands on turned tapering legs and has a drawer with turned wooden knobs. The base retains its original hand painted scumbled finish whilst the top has been stripped back to the bare pine. The table has a lovely warm colour and patina and a smooth waxed finish.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are general signs of age and use, some minor surface marks and small knocks and losses to the paint around the legs but nothing detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm in places which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table aesthetically or structurally. The table has been cleaned and given a light polish and is ready for use.
