A lovely pine linen or pantry cupboard dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It has two panelled cupboard doors above a flight of two short over three long drawers. Each drawer has turned wooden knobs and it stands on bracket feet. The cupboard part is fixed by four screws but can be split from the drawers for transport.
It is in very good condition and the pine has a lovely mellow colour. The interior is generally clean and tidy with just a few small marks and the drawers open smoothly. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small chips and an area of scratching near the foot (see photo) but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. There has been some old worm in the backboards which has been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
