A lovely antique pine dresser dating from the late 19th century. The base has two cupboard doors, each with small brass knobs, that open to a shelved interior. The top part of the dresser is set back and has two glazed doors opening to reveal a pale blue painted interior with two generous sized shelves. These top doors come with their original working key. It is a good quality piece standing on bracket feet with nice molding on the cupboard fronts and attractive shaped frieze above the glazing.
It splits into two parts for transport and can be fixed together with two small screws.
It is in good original condition throughout and the pine has a lovely warm colour. It has been gently cleaned and polished and has a nice smooth waxed finish. It is not without some signs of age and use but no major damages or anything detrimental.
