A lovely farmhouse table dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has a planked pine top with two leaves, supported by hinged flaps. The frame of the table is pine with its original stained finish and it has two large drawers at each end with brass handles. It stands on sturdy turned mahogany legs terminating in castors.
It is a good size, big enough to seat 6-8 comfortably and the leaves make it very versatile.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and use and some old marks and knocks on the top surface and around the legs but nothing untoward or detrimental and it has developed a lovely patina. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
