A lovely stripped pine cupboard dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is possibly a continental piece and it is a nice compact size. The doors are panelled with turned knobs and metal closing latches. It has a shelved interior. The doors are flanked by reeded columns and it stands on turned bun feet.
It is in good condition and the pine has a nice warm colour. It has been cleaned and has a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. The interior is generally clean and tidy. There are some signs of age and use, some marks here and there and some old repairs but nothing detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It displays very nicely and is ready for use.
