A good example of an antique pine Cricket Table dating from the mid 19th Century. It is of traditional form with three legs, a circular planked pine top and a shelf below. It has a lovely patina and there are some traces of the original ochre paint on the base.
It is in good condition with a lovely warm colour. There are of course signs of age and use, some old marks and knocks but no major damages and it a solid and sturdy piece. There are some signs of historic worm in places which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table structurally or aesthetically. It has been lightly cleaned and waxed and is ready for use.
