A beautiful pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century. It is a good large size and offers plenty of storage. Each drawer has turned wooden knobs and they stand on small bracket feet below a moulded edge. The pine is a lovely warm colour and has been lightly polished to give a smooth wax finish.
They are in very good condition for their age. Each drawer is clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly, having recently had the drawer runners replaced or repaired. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, knocks and a few old splits but nothing detrimental. They are strong and sturdy and they have been cleaned and are ready for use.
