A good antique pine blanket box dating from the late 19th century. It is well made with metal carrying handles and inside it has its original strap hinges and a small candle box with hinged lid. Below the candle box is a small drawer and behind this there is also a further concealed drawer. A good size for a coffee table, end of the bed storage or toy trunk.
It is in good condition for its age. It is strong and sturdy and generally clean and tidy inside. There are signs of use and age, some light knocks and marks but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
