A lovely antique pine blanket box dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It is well made with a dovetail construction, brass strapping on the corners and two metal carrying handles. It has its original metal strap hinges and the interior has a divided candle box.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and the interior is generally clean and tidy. There are some signs of age and use, some small knocks, splits and marks but it still displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
