A good antique pine blanket box dating from the late 19th / early 20th century with metal carrying handles. Inside it has its original hinges and a small candle box with hinged lid. A good size for a coffee table, end of the bed storage or toy trunk.
It is in good condition for its age and generally clean and tidy. There are signs of age and use, some light knocks and marks but nothing untoward. There is an old shrinkage split in the top which has been repaired and reinforced and it is strong and sturdy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
