A lovely stripped pine bank of drawers dating from the early 20th Century. They were likely from a shop or workshop and there are 8 drawers arranged in two columns. Each drawer has a turned wooden knob and brass escutcheon. They have a planked top, panelled sides and stand on a small plinth base. and the drawers and cupboards are both clean and tidy inside.
It is in good condition and the pine has a nice warm colour. It has been cleaned and given a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are some signs of age and use, some knocks and marks here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. It displays very nicely and is ready for use.
