A lovely bank of pine drawers dating from the late 19th Century. There are 8 drawers in total, each graduating in size and with their original turned wooden knobs. The bottom four drawers are also fitted with locks and come with a working key.
It was probably originally used in a shop or workshop and has been cleaned, stripped and given a light coat of wax.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. The inside of the drawers are generally clean and tidy and they all open and close smoothly. There have been some old repairs and there are signs of age and use, some surface marks, knocks and minor chips but nothing detrimental and it has a wonderful authentic aged patina.
