A superb Victorian porcelain scent bottle with a solid silver threaded top and collar. The bottle is good quality with attractive painted decoration depicting a floral / reed design. The top is clearly hallmarked for Charles May, Birmingham, 1890.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dinks in the silver top and some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are no cracks or damages to the bottle. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.
