Good quality octagonal stick stand with original painted decoration, dating from circa 1900. It is painted black with hand painted fleur-de-lis decoration and gold and red borders. It is very good quality and a good solid piece. An unusual design and a very decorative object, likely made for a country house.
It is in good condition and displays beautifully. There are some minor signs of age and use and some wear to the paint but no damages and nothing detrimental. The interior is clean and tidy and it is ready for use.
