A good example of an early 20th Century oak filing cabinet with 9 internal trays and an attractive tambour front. The top surface hinges on an easel back. It is well made and a good quality piece with a brass escutcheon plate and its original working key.
It is in good condition and displays well. The tambour front slides smoothly and the drawers are generally clean and tidy and open well. It is not without some small marks and knocks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
