A lovely example of an early 20th Century oak filing cabinet with 9 internal trays and an attractive tambour front. It is well made and a good quality piece with panelled sides and a small raised back gallery. It has a brass handle for the front and it comes with its original working key. Each drawer has a shaped front and a small brass name label.
It is in good condition and is a very usable piece. The tambour front slides smoothly and the drawers are clean and tidy and open well. It is not without some small marks and knocks, some areas of slight sun fading and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully.
