A lovely oak desk chair dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made. It has a nice shape with a curved back supported by turned spindles. The seat is upholstered in a maroon leather-type material with a studded edge. It has four splayed legs and swivels on a large bolt and also tilts backwards when you lean back in the chair. The metal plate above the legs is stamped with a patent for 1895.
It is approximately 32" (81cm) high and the arms are 22" (55cm) wide. It is approximately 18" (46cm) deep.
