A beautiful oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made. It has a lovely shape with a curved back and large curving arms. It has four legs, terminating in castors. The chair swivels on a large bolt and also tilts backwards when you lean back in the chair.
It is approximately 34" (86cm) high and the arms are 22" (55cm) wide. It is approximately 19" (48cm) deep and the seat is 17 3/4" (45cm) high.
It is in excellent condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally very sound. It is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing untoward for a chair of this age. The seat is in good condition with no splits or tears and the mechanism for tilting and swivelling is in good strong working order.
