A beautiful oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made with a large padded seat covered in a red leather-look material. It is a lovely shape with a curved back and arms and stylised spindles. It has four legs, terminating in castors and the chair swivels on a large bolt.
It is approximately 33" (84cm) high and the arms are 24" (61cm) wide. It is approximately 20" (51cm) deep and the seat is 18" (46cm) high but this is adjustable.
It is in good condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally sound. It is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing untoward for a chair of this age. The seat is in good condition with no splits or tears and the mechanism for tilting is in good strong working order.
