A lovely oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made. It has a lovely shape with a curved back and comfortable seat with a studded brown cover. It has four splayed legs and the chair swivels around on a large bolt.
It is approximately 36 1/2" (93cm) high. The seat is approximately 16" (41cm) deep and 17" (43cm) wide. The seat height can be adjusted.
It is in excellent condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally sound. The chair is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental for a chair of this age. The seat covering is in good condition with no splits or tears and the mechanism for swivelling and adjusting the height is in good working order.
