A lovely oak tabletop stationery cabinet dating from the early 20th Century. The oak has a nice warm patina and the front and top are decorated with inlaid marquetry panels. It has a sloped front which folds down to reveal a fitted interior with a letter rack and pen rest. Blotting paper could also be fitted under the brackets on the back if desired. The box comes with a working key.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some minor signs of use with some small age related stains and marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
