A lovely example of an early 20th century stacking oak bookcase in the style of Globe Wernicke. It has four glazed sections with an 'up and over' sliding door. The top two sections are smaller than the bottom two. Below this is a long drawers with metal handles. It is a good quality piece with a nicely finished plinth and a good colour to the oak.
As is typical with these pieces each section splits down so it can be easily transported.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It is not without some signs of age but no major damages or anything detrimental. The bookcase has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
Approximate Measurements :
Width : 34" / 86cm
Height : 64" / 163cm
Depth : 13" / 33cm at the top, 11" (28cm) for the sections
