A charming country oak side table dating from the early to mid 19th century. It has a lovely planked top with a small drawer and a very useful shelf below.
It is in good original condition with a beautiful warm patina. It is strong and sturdy and the drawer opens well. There are normal signs of age and use, some light knocks and surface marks and old ink stains but nothing detrimental. There has been a small repair to the shelf and there are signs of historic woodworm in the bottom of the drawer which has all been treated as a precaution. Overall it displays very nicely and is a good honest table.
