A lovely old shop till dating from the early to mid 20th Century. The sloped top lifts up to a storage compartment for receipts and below is a fitted cash drawer with a cup handle. It has a brass maker's or retailers plaque engraved "Cassa" and a sign on the top that reads "Hier Betalen" (Dutch for Pay Here).
It is a good quality item made of oak and it comes with its original working key.
It is in good condition and has clearly been well looked after. The wood has a lovely patina and inside it is clean and tidy. It is not without some minor knocks and marks which add to its age and character but there are no major damages. It has been cleaned and the brass parts lightly polished and it displays very nicely.
