A lovely oak desk chair dating from the early to mid 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made with a cushioned leather seat. It has an attractive shape with a curved back and wide arms. It stands on bulbous turned legs joined by a double stretcher. It makes a lovely desk chair but would also be a nice library or hall chair.
It is approximately 32" (81cm) high and the arms are 27" (69cm) wide. The seat is approximately 18" (46cm) deep and 17 1/2" (45cm) high.
It is in very good condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina with a rich colour and is structurally very sound. There are signs of age and use and it is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing detrimental or untoward. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
