A lovely antique oak barrel dating from the 19th century. It is very well made with riveted metal strapping. A great size for an umbrella / stick stand.
It is in good condition and displays well. There are signs of age and use but no major damages and the wood has a wonderful patina. There are some minor signs of historic woodworm around the base which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected it structurally or aesthetically.
