A good oak chest of drawers dating from the early to mid 19th Century. They have two short over three long drawers and each drawer has its original turned inlaid knobs. They stand on small bracket feet with a shaped apron. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside.
They are in good condition for their age. They have developed a lovely warm patina and are strong and sturdy. There are of course signs of age and use and they have picked up some small knocks, and marks but nothing detrimental. There has been a small repair to a chip on the top surface and some repairs around the feet but no major damages. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
