A lovely oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made with a shaped seat. It has an attractive shape with stylised spindles, scrolling arms with curved supports and cabriole legs with a H-stretcher. It serves as a lovely desk chair but would also be a nice library or hall chair.
It is in excellent condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally very sound, having recently been restored. It has been gently cleaned and polished and although is not without a few small marks here and there it displays beautifully and is ready for use.
