Circa 1900
A lovely example of an antique display cabinet dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century with small proportions. It is a particularly useful narrow size and would be suitable for floor standing, wall mounting or placing on top of another piece of furniture. It would even be narrow enough to stand on most mantel pieces, shelves or window-sills. It has two doors with glass in the top section and a solid panelled lower section. The doors open to reveal 3 removable internal shelves. It is well built from Mahogany and is excellent quality with flush brass locking catches on the door and a plinth base.
It is in excellent condition and displays well with an attractive mellow patina. The doors open smoothly and it is clean and tidy inside. It is not without some small marks and knocks, a small repair to a chip on one door and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental.
