A lovely antique camphorwood travelling trunk, most likely a military piece, with brass corner pieces, brass strapping and brass carrying handles. It is very well made from solid camphor and has a lovely colour and patina.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small knocks and surface marks here and there but noting detrimental. The box is clean and tidy inside, it has been cleaned and lightly polished and it displays beautifully.
