A nice example of a marble Corinthian column style table lamp dating from the early 20th Century. It has a traditional column design set on a stepped gilt metal base with a gilt top. Possibly once an oil lamp base, it has now been converted to an electric table lamp and re-wired with a brass bayonet bulb holder. It is in working order and has been PAT Tested for electrical safety.
The lamp is in good condition and displays well. There are some minor marks and general signs of age use but nothing detrimental. I
t has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
