A mahogany side table with an attractive bow front dating from the early to mid 19th Century. It stands on turned tapering legs and has brass swan neck handles. However the drawer is false and the top of the table is hinged and lifts up instead. This leads me to believe that it was most likely originally made as a desk and could now serve either purpose.
It is in very good condition for its age and has a lovely colour. There are some minor signs of age and use, some surface marks and light knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental and is clean and tidy inside. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
