A lovely small mahogany drop-flap work table dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It stands on tall elegant octagonal legs with bulbous turnings and has its original ceramic castors. There are two drawers at one end of the table and matching dummy drawers at the opposite end. The drop leafs are supported by small hinged wooden flaps.
It is in good condition and displays very well. It is sturdy and in good order with a nice rich colour. The leaves are flat and easy to put up and the drawers open well. There are some minor marks, light surface scratches and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
