A good quality narrow mahogany console table dating from the mid to late 19th century. It stands on shaped legs with sleigh feet joined by a shaped stretcher. The top has a raised gallery and it's narrow proportions make it perfect as a hall table.
It is in good condition with a beautiful rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some small marks on the top surface and a few minor old splits but nothing detrimental. The stretcher has been repaired at some point but the whole piece is strong and sturdy and there are no major damages. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
