Product Details

A superb large studded leather dog collar made from thick stitched brown leather with a metal buckle and two rows of metal studs. It has a metal name plaque reading '...rottesley Downton'. Part of a letter can be seen below the rivet holding this name plaque on and it is believed it should read 'Wrottesley'. There is record of a Captain R. Wrottesley living at Downton, Wiltshire in the early 20th Century.

It is in good condition for its age. The leather is strong and supple with no damages or tears. There are two brass studs missing but overall it displays very nicely.
The collar measures 22" (56cm) long and the leather is 1 1/2" (4cm) wide. On its smallest hole the diameter of the collar is approximately 5" and on its largest hole it is approximately 7" in diameter.
