A good example of a Japanese tea caddy dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a square shape with round top and is profusely decorated with oriental scenes of dragons. It is made of metal with what looks like silver plating on copper.
It is in very good condition for its age. The metal has worn and tarnished over the years producing a lovely patina. There are signs of age and use, some surface marks and small knocks here and there but no major damages and it displays well.
