A good example of a brass 'Kamandalu' - an Indian water vessel - dating from the early 20th Century. It is of typical rounded form with a carrying handle and decorative brass roundels.
It is in good condition for its age. It has been lightly cleaned and polished to retain its natural aged patina and it displays very well. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small dinks and dents and some tarnishing on the brass but nothing untoward and no major damages.
