A superb miniature chest of drawers dating from the early to mid 19th Century. It is beautifully adorned with hand painted Sheraton style decoration. The drawer fronts are each decorated in different floral swags, the top has a floral border with central music themed motif and the sides have painted amulets. The whole chest is lined with yellow and green stringing and even the back of the chest is decorated. Each drawer has small brass knobs and finely cut dovetail joints. The chest stands on typical regency style bracket feet.
It is in good original condition and the painted decoration is bright and vibrant.The lock is missing from one drawer and there is a small chip above the escutcheon on another but there are no other major damages and it displays beautifully.
