A lovely example of a gilt painted standard lamp dating from the early to mid 20th century. It has a hexagonal base with three small feet and an elegant tapering upright with faux candle bulb holder. It has its original gilt and painted decoration with lots of lovely details.
It has been rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb and is PAT Tested.
The lamp is in good condition and is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and wear, some small losses and marks and wear to the finish but nothing detrimental and it has a lovely patina.
