A lovely desktop gilt metal letter rack dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It has an unusual blue and white jasperware panel on the front depicting a cherub. It has two main sections with ornate scrolling borders and a carrying handle.
It is in good condition for its age with a lovely patina. There are some signs of age and use, some small dinks and knocks to the feet and minor marks on the plaque but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
