A lovely antique oval wall mirror with a gilded frame. It has a pretty border with bow detail at the bottom and a floral sconce at the top. It has a bevelled mirror plate which is in good condition with just a few minor age spots.
There is a paper label on the reverse for “F.Newcombe. Carver, Gilder and Picture Frame Manufacturer”.
It is in good condition and the gilding is bright. There has been a small loss to the detail at the very top of the frame but it isn’t detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
