A lovely gilt framed wall mirror dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It has a deep cushioned frame with inset slip and the edge of the frame is nicely decorated in a classical design. It is likely this was originally made as a picture frame and has been later converted to a mirror at some point.
It is in good original condition. There are some minor damages and small losses around the edges of the frame but nothing detrimental. There have been a few repairs, particularly along the top edge but overall it displays well and the gilding is bright. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
