A nice example of a late 19th Century Louis XV style side table. The table has a marble top with gilt edge and matching gilt mounts on the frieze, tops of the legs, feet and around the lower shelf. The quality is superb and in the manner of Francois Linke. .
The table is in good condition for its age and displays very nicely. However there is a stain on the marble top and also two brass mounts missing from around the frieze. There are other minor marks, knocks and scuffs and general light signs of age and use but nothing untoward or detrimental.
