A lovely antique elm table dating from the late 19th century. It originates from France and has a planked top and stands on square tapering legs with a small drawer at one end.
The table is a good size and comfortably seats 4-6 people. The ends of the legs have been tipped to give a comfortable leg clearance of 24" (61cm) all around.
The table is in good condition for its age and has a lovely patina and nice warm colour. There are signs of age and use, some marks and minor old shrinkage splits on the top but nothing detrimental and it is a solid and sturdy table.
